Tehran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued warnings of imminent attacks against 18 American technology corporations with operations throughout the Middle East, with actions scheduled to begin April 1, 2026. The declaration appeared on a Guard-linked Telegram channel published in Farsi.
The roster encompasses industry leaders across the technology sector: Apple (AAPL), Microsoft (MSFT), Google (GOOGL), Meta, Nvidia (NVDA), Oracle (ORCL), IBM, Intel (INTC), Cisco (CSCO), HP (HPQ), Dell (DELL), Palantir (PLTR), JPMorgan (JPM), Tesla (TSLA), General Electric, Boeing (BA), Spire Solutions, and the Emirati artificial intelligence firm G42.
According to the Guard’s statement, operations would initiate at 20:00 on Wednesday, April 1, according to Tehran’s timezone — equivalent to 12:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. Personnel employed by these corporations received warnings to evacuate their facilities immediately for personal safety.
“Going forward, every assassination will result in the destruction of an American corporation,” the message stated.
The warnings follow combined US-Israeli military strikes against Iranian territory executed on February 28. Tehran asserts these technology firms maintain direct connections to military and intelligence operations directed against Iran.
Amazon (AMZN) Facilities Already Struck
This represents a continuation of previous actions. On March 1, two Amazon (AMZN) Web Services infrastructure facilities in the UAE sustained damage during Iranian military operations. A third facility located in Bahrain experienced damage from debris. The IRGC accepted responsibility, declaring the operations were designed to reveal the facilities’ involvement in supporting military and intelligence activities.
These strikes resulted in widespread service disruptions affecting numerous applications and digital platforms throughout the United Arab Emirates.
An earlier communication from Tasnim news agency — which maintains connections to the IRGC — identified 30 precise locations across the region as potential targets. The majority were situated in Dubai and Tel Aviv. Within Tel Aviv, the inventory included facilities operated by Palantir, Amazon, and Microsoft, along with Nvidia’s engineering and research center.
Rationale Behind Corporate Targeting
Iran contends these technology corporations supply critical infrastructure supporting US and Israeli military capabilities. Oracle, IBM, and Google facilities in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Abu Dhabi were specifically mentioned for purportedly enabling “military entities.”
Amazon and Google secured a $1.2 billion government contract from Israel in 2021 through Project Nimbus, delivering essential technological infrastructure to Israel, as documented in a 2025 United Nations investigation.
The identical report indicated Microsoft, Amazon, and Google provide Israel with “essentially government-wide access” to their cloud computing and artificial intelligence capabilities. IBM faced accusations of conducting training programs for Israeli military and intelligence operatives.
The US Department of War separately granted Oracle an $88 million contract for integrating cloud software platforms with Air Force systems.
Intel issued a response to the warnings, stating: “The safety and wellbeing of our team is our number one priority. We are taking steps to safeguard and support our workers and facilities in the Middle East.”
Microsoft, Google, and JPMorgan refused to provide statements.
President Trump indicated on Tuesday that he anticipated US military personnel would depart Iran within “two to three weeks.” The White House verified Trump would deliver a national address regarding the Iran conflict Wednesday evening.
Casualties have exceeded 3,400 Iranian civilians and military members since hostilities commenced, alongside 13 US military personnel. More than 3,000 unmanned aerial vehicles and missiles have been deployed across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
